THE ONE THING FACTORY TEAMS HAVE IN COMMON.
MXGP manufacturers spend years developing their own approach to performance. Engines, chassis, suspension, electronics, and setup are all areas where advantages are earned.
Yet Yamaha's factory motocross programmes run VP MOTO R alongside Honda HRC, TM Moto, and Bud Racing. In a paddock defined by technical
differences, these manufacturers have reached the same conclusion when it comes to one critical component.
The relationship extends beyond MXGP. VP MOTO R is also used by the MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 Team, the VHR Yamaha Official EMX250 Team, the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 Team, and the Monster Energy Yamaha
Factory MXGP Team, creating a consistent foundation throughout Yamaha's racing ladder.
As riders progress from EMX125 to EMX250, MX2, and ultimately MXGP, they're already familiar with one of the most important inputs on the motorcycle. From EMX125 to MXGP, riders, teams, and motorcycles may
evolve, but the foundation remains the same.

Why four rivals share one input
Yamaha's factory MXGP effort runs the same blend as Honda HRC, TM Moto and Bud Racing: VP MOTO R. In a class where chassis, suspension, engine and electronics are all points of competitive difference, those four teams have taken fuel off the list of things to argue about.
The practical effect is that a result is attributable. When a bike is quick, the reason is in the engineering, and when it is slow, the search starts somewhere other than the tank.
Four more Yamaha teams on the same fuel
The Yamaha Factory Team is not the only Yamaha operation on VP MOTO R. The same fuel runs in the MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 Team, the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 Team, the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP Team and the VHR Yamaha Official EMX250 Team.
That runs from the European championship's EMX125 class to the premier class. A rider coming up through Yamaha's official EMX125 and EMX250 teams is already on the fuel the factory MX2 and MXGP bikes run.
ONE FUEL
VP MOTO R runs in four leading factory MXGP teams — Honda HRC, Yamaha, TM Moto and Bud Racing.
